MY SCHOOL LIFE

  • I studied in two schools.
  • I first went to Homagama Maha Vidyalaya to study there for eleven years.
  • I was able to come to a place like this today because the first foundations of this school were strong.
  • It was from this school that I was able to show my artistic talent.
  • I also participated in All Island Dance Competition and brought pride to this school.
  • I was the prefect of this school for three years and I passed the GCE Ordinary Level examination well and got the opportunity to go to another school.
  • I entered D.S.Senanayaka College Colombo to study A/L. I have many sweet memories during these two years.
  • I also did outdoor activities at this school.
  • I was able to enter this school and first dance in the Aura concert. This  was organized by the school music section.
  •  Amateur dancers in the low country dance tradition are ''Madhu Basima''. We did a Devol Madhu Shanthikarmaya at our school. There I was able to Madhu Basima. It was a great opportunity for me.
  • Our dance unit organizes a dance show called 'Chalana' every year.  For two years I showed off my dancing skills at this concert.
  • I also participated in All Island Dance Competitions from thi
    s school. I learned a lot from the dance teachers at this school.

  • I met good friends during school.🤣😂 I had nine friends and we were all together during school. We run away from school some days. In those days we would go to Arcade, Viharamahadevi Park, Waterzage.   
  • The beautiful pages of my life turned a little during school💗💗.
  • The beautiful sweet experiences of school days will never be again.

We need a best friend in our lives. We need to have a best friend to say something that no one else can say. Blame those who hurt me and you also have to have a best friend to walk around the world. If life goes wrong some where you have to have a friend to save it. Join me when I want to cry, lough out loud when I want to lough, need a best friend to enjoy life with them. I met a lot of friends like that on campus. Out of those lot of friends, I have two best friends. They are both Chathura and Subashana. These two will help at any time if I have any problems. To me these two are like brothers. These two have been my friends since before campus started. Our friendship is more than a year old now. Our friendship started through WhatsApp and Zoom. ''GAMIRANGA ABHIMAN'' Dancing Competition 💃💃🕺🕺.....

                                      Gamiranga Abhiman is a dancing competition organized by our Institute of Dance Studios. The competition is organized by Gamitha Sir and Nuwan Sir, two dancing class teachers. The dance competition started in 2017 and has been held 3 times so far. This is held every year and at the end of the year it was a platform to showcase the talents of the dancing class students. Competitions are held according to the age group of the children in the class and the best dancer is selected.  Age group between 6 and 7 years. Age group between 8 and 9 years. Age group between 10 and 11 years. Age group between 12 and 14 years. Age group between 15 and 17 years.
